I am a musician and play many string instruments. In my collection are ukuleles, a mandolin, concert and western guitars, electric guitars and an upright bass. In different projects i have tried a variety of music styles. I have played surf rock and funk, traditionals back to 1920, medieval,old, oriental music and jazz.

I once created simple recordings some time ago. These are actually just a few drafts. I used simple microphones, a low-budget usb-sound interface and the software Audacity for these recordings.

Here is a snippet of the piece Mayenzeit by Neidhart von Reuental (1190 - 1240) i created. It is played with mandolin and backed with e-bass.


A friend of mine who plays the oud, introduced me to the piece "Lamma Bada Yatathanna" (Arabic: لما بدا يتثنى). In the arab world a famous piece by the singer Fairuz. Played with the manodlin, it sounds very European. It is also played with concert guitar


With the band we tried many jazz standards. I provide a few of the pieces here as a PDF file. These are by far not all pieces we played. Sooner or later i will extend this list.
